Century Gothic – I’m trying out this future post thing. You see, I’m acutally in another state trying not to think about checking any possible response to yesterday’s post it’s not the thing that I usually post about but it is the side of ancient war that most people leave unspoken. In this world, we can profess to be Christians, we are in a nation that professes but doesn’t neccessarily posess Christ. Not like owning a computer, but having Him kept in our hearts. Nobody wants to be too Christian. After all, the people who stand on the street corners at death metal concerts are so judgemental and intolerant. The men who were arrested for reading out of the Bible during a homosexual pride parade were just out of line. Who wants to be that sort of Christian who protests at military funerals?
There is more than one sort of Christian. There are Christians who believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten son God who died on the cross to forgive us for our sins. There are Christians who believe everything but what Christ did for us didn’t really happen that way. It’s a sad day when we can lead faith-to-faith events in the big cities, but Christian-to-Christian events don’t happen because we can’t decide on which type of worship is right or what exactly should be preached. Isn’t Christ Jesus the head of the body that is the church? When then does every other church building engage in a tug-of-war to get people into their building? There are few solutions: 1.) Consult God in prayer, He will hear you. 2.) Consult God’s Word, you will hear Him. 3.) Obey His Word, it’ll be a blessing in every meaning of the word. 4.) Really mean it to be a Christian by helping other Christians through their tough times. You’ll know that they’re Christians by their love, by their love, you will know that they are Christians by their love…
