Calibri – When Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt met in 1941 on the battleship HMS Prince of Wales to agree the Atlantic Charter, a church service was held for which Prime Minster Churchill chose the hymns. He chose Onward, Christian Soldiers and afterwards made a radio broadcast explaining this choice:

We sang Onward, Christian Soldiers indeed, and I felt that this was no vain presumption, but that we had the right to feel that we serving a cause for the sake of which a trumpet has sounded from on high. When I looked upon that densely packed congregation of fighting men of the same language, of the same faith, of the same fundamental laws, of the same ideals … it swept across me that here was the only hope, but also the sure hope, of saving the world from measureless degradation.

—Winston Churchill

2 Timothy 3:16-17, “16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

In the Old Testament, God instructed the army of Israel to destroy those living in the promised land, they had come under judgement. Some say that the God of the Old Testament is not the God of the New Testament. God never changes. he still has the army of Israel, but he has a Christian army that needs to turn to Him.

Prayer Warriors, Teachers, Equippers, Helpers, Preachers, Healers, … God has a place prepared for you. Come for training! Become a disciple of Jesus! Cast off Worldliness! What you see here, will eventually be destroyed, work for things of an eternal value that can not be destroyed. This is the time to turn ourselves to Him and lead our families in His footsteps. Let us walk in the light of truth and share it with all who are perishing in darkness.

Ephesians 6:10-13, “10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.”

...Anyway, that's just how I feel about it ... What do you think?
