Unmasked

Several years ago, my friends encouraged me to try the blog thing. We were all members of the site Xanga on it’s early / free days. I kept on blogging long after my friends’ blogs faded. Eventually, Xanga switched to pay-for-use mode, but they were kind enough to let me download nearly a decades worth of on and off posts. After something of a hiatus, I’m hoping to get started blogging about faith again – for some odd reason, I feel most connected to the truth when I question some of the most basic assumptions about it. I believe that faith is an individual journey that is part of the collective experience we all share from having so much in common, however, no two of us will ever have the exact same journey and experiences as the others because we’re all unique. I don’t know if I’ll ever be widely read or famous – I’m not after that. This is mostly for me. This is to help me understand what I believe and why I believe it, it’s to help me reflect on the essential truths and fight against the pernicious lies I discover along the way.

...Anyway, that's just how I feel about it ... What do you think?
